Adding contact linking/unlinking support in Empathy this cycle?

Hi all,

The Folks team is working to add contact linking/unlinking support to
Folks, so Empathy can have proper metacontacts (which is one of
Empathy's most-requested features). We should be able to finish the
Folks side this week (and probably also the Empathy UI that goes along
with it).

Empathy already depended upon folks before the feature freeze. Is it too
late to add contact linking/unlinking to Empathy this cycle?
