[Rhythmbox-devel] gstreamer 0.6.3 probs

having recently recompiled rhythmbox (0.5.2) with gstreamer 0.6.3 i have
run into a problem:  when rhythmbox finishes playing a song it simply
freezes.  running it with the -d option i get the following:

Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0xb609)!

i havent filed this as a bug as i suspect its some thing wrong with my
system
