[Rhythmbox-devel] Could not create audio output element; check your settings

hello, if i want to play a song in rhythmbox the following error shows up:

"Could not create audio output element; check your settings"

well, i have no problems to play music in other programs like xmms & 
mplayer.
whats the matter?

please reply straight to me (linux at telltec dot ch), because i am not 
subscribed in the mailinglist!
