I am running Rhythmbox 0.8.5 on Fedore Core 2. I had everything working
fine until *something* changed with Fedora but I cannot for the life of
me figure out what it was.
On trying to import any music into RB, I get this error on the console:
RhythmDB-ERROR **: file rhythmdb.c: line 1375 (rhythmdb_entry_set):
should not be reached
aborting...
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x155e)!
and then the app is frozen and I have to kill it.
I've seen http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142953 and this does
not seem to be the same resolution. I've tried starting with
--gst-scheduler=opt and --gst-scheduler=entrygthread and neither one
makes a difference.
When starting the app with -d I get this as the last piece of the output:
[0x9b53aa8] [paned_changed_cb] rb-shell.c:2378 (18:09:03): paned changed
[0x9b53aa8] [rb_shell_sync_paned] rb-shell.c:2336 (18:09:03): syncing

Should I open this as a new Bugzilla entry or add it to the above one?
Any one have any other suggestions on how to get RB working again?
Thanks,
Victor
