Hmm. I'm reading email offline right now, so I can't check - what is a "winamp" playlist? m3u? Or something else? Is it really winamp-specific? Can winamp not read .pls format? Do other music players call it a winamp playlist? > 2) When you save the playlist - there's a checkbox labelled "copy files" I think I'd rather see this kind of thing integrated with better support for removable media. Saving winamp-format playlists along with copying the music files is kind of specific to your one particular device. Ideally what we would have is a menu entry like Playlist->"Copy to <device name>", and that would handle whatever specific details were necessary for the particular device. > Feature 1) is straightforward enough to be included in the next version of Rhythmbox It is, except we're in string freeze right now. I had planned to open up the --0.9 development tree soon anyways, and we can put this stuff there, along with other things in the pipeline. Once we release 0.8, we can backport some things for 0.8.1.
