There's an open bug in bugzilla for an alarm clock:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323511

Not sure if it's exactly the same functionality.  If it is, you should
add the patch to that bug, or if it is not, open a new bug with the
patch using the component "Plugins (other)".
