Hello, being a classical music listener, I started to include support for composer tags. Composers now refer to the createor of the music, and the artist tag is more or less misused to name the performer Find a patch against rhythmbox-0.11.6 appended below. Open issues: - RHYTHMDB_PROP_COMPOSER_SORT_KEY - Composer is only added in Library->Music playlists and search widget - Sorting hierarcy: Genre - Composer - Album - Artist is good for classical music, where Album contains opus info e.g. Romantic - Schubert - Symphony No. 8 D759 - Wiener Philharmoniker; Böhm but Genre - Artist -Album might be better for other music - Should we be more precise, and add the performer tag , as I did for the composer ?
