I am using ifuse, as karmic only detects the ipod (via USB) as a camera. The ipod is on the desktop as a camera (the picture directory).

Is there a gvfs version, which enables usage of the ipod touch / iPhone?

ubuntu karmic gvfs packages don't have the afc backend for what it's worth.
