Hi All:

OK - I'm woefully late on this.  The plans for gnome-speech for the 
immediate future are just maintenance mode.  No new features.  Just bug 
fixing.

At some point, we'd like to migrate away from CORBA to something else, 
but this will most likely be done as a Linux Foundation project for use 
by both GNOME and KDE.
