Thank you! I've signup up with "apiraino" before realizing that probably
does not comply with the naming scheme. Let me know if it's ok anyways.

You can also create wiki accounts again now:

Let me know of your account name and I add you to the "editors list".

I volunteer to maintain and update the Wiki page.
We have already a good lead for a venue, the RedHat offices in
Rome.
They asked us to write a brief abstract of the event so they can
mention
and give a shoutout on a larger (EMEA) scale.
So, I'd like to enrich a little bit the wiki page and then give the
link
to our lead in RedHat, is it ok for everyone?
Let me know when the signup thing is enabled again :-)
thanks,
Antonio

Hi all,
I've created a wikipage for the hackfest too now:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Hackfests/Rust2019-2
More or less empty at this point. Fill it with your ideas and
names

no problem, my friend :-)
I'll pass on this information and let's find a nice place where
we
can
camp for a couple of days (and maybe nights ^_^).

After short discussion and based on the poll, there is a week

everyone is available so let's go for it. I therefore announce
that
the
hackfest will be from saturday 19th october to wednesday 23rd
(still
october).
Sorry for taking so long to give you the dates Antonio...

Hi all,
unless there are changes, I assume the Hackfest is
still
targeting 21st
to 24th of November (thursday to sunday).
There is not a big rush (yet), but if changes in the
schedule
are to be
considered, I'd ask you folks to let me know in a
timely
manner: it
will greatly ease the job for my friend in Rome when
asking
for a
spot for us.
thanks,
Antonio
