If it follows OE, then I guess with various hacks :\

The good news on that is that Alexander Kanavin is right now working on getting g-i to work in a cross compile environment (with the intention of getting it to work on OE and incorporated upstream): https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8469 . He's saying he's making good progress.

So hopefully the gobject introspection situation is better soon.
