Still some rather bad conflicts with Emacs, particularly C-M-s and
C-M-r. I use C-M-up and C-M-down for raise and lower, C-S-M-up for
vertical maximize (needed more often than horizontal or both) and
C-S-M-down for iconify.
According to ICCCM Section 6.3 "window managers should ensure that
they provide some mechanism for their clients to receive events from
all keys and all buttons". Inspired by C-q in Emacs, the function
quote-event was written to provide such a mechanism (although the
version currently distributed fails to support mouse buttons).
However, it is clumsy if you have to use it a lot. A toggle to
disable wm bindings might be better in that case. Personally I just
try to avoid wm bindings that overlap with oft used application
bindings.
