Another method is to run xterm as:
$ xterm -title "foo-var"
And set "matched window". There you can specify workspace & viewport.
Do match against the name "foo-var" manually.,
Setting title is almost invisible, because usually the window title
gets changed by the shell, like "username:/current/path", as soon as
the shell starts.
But this has a drawback. The current viewport is changed to display
the new window. (This should be fixed, but what would be the good
option?)
