[merge request] Byte compiler bug fix.

Hi. Please merge my branch of **librep**, by:

git remote add gitorious git gitorious org:sawfish/librep.git
git fetch gitorious
git branch --track teika gitorious/master
git merge teika

It includes 
* bugfix of byte-compilation for docstring loss. With this, you can
  compile pager.jl or whichever. See news or commit log for the details.
* Deletion of ctrl-l.
* Minor doc change.
