Hi. Please merge my librep branch.
* It reverts the last doc commit, and redo as several distinct re-commits.
  Proper doc is supplied.
* Doc. Improved news. Improved read syntax of char. Re-organized
  'the language' chapter.

I think that's all for librep-0.91.0.
# I recently learned "git rerere", which seems nice, though I haven't
# experinced its invocation yet.
