Hi Riccardo,
Hi Alexandre,
Thanks for you interest in SeedKit.
The current git master build environment is indeed broken, something
goes wrong with the pkg-config dependencies:
I juggled with them trying to follow both Ubuntu and Fedora
development branches. Moving targets, uh :(
Now that both F14 and 10.10 are out, I'll target those for the
foreseeable future.
Thanks for your repport, I'll correct that ASAP and give you a notice then,
I've digged the issue a bit more and found the real issue. The problem
is that seedkit-1.0.pc file requires seed 2.31.5 to be available but it
will compile fine with 2.30.0. So seedkit-viewer will fail because it
does not find the required version for seed.
So i think that the issue is in seedkit, so its requirement should be
relaxed in pkgconfig file or enforced in configure.ac.
I've tried to workaround the issue by removing the version from seed
dependancy in seedkit-1.0.pc but i ended up with:
/usr/local/lib/libseedkit-1.0.so: undefined reference to
`seed_init_with_context'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
HTH,
riccardo
