application/ogg is a parent mimetype because its ambiguous (is it video
or music?)
Exactly what I was thinking...
Fortunately as tracker uses xdgmime, it should split these out into
either audio/foo+ogg or video/foo+ogg mime subtypes. Nautilus also uses
Xdgmime and you can see the mimetype by right click properties - you can
see it distinguishes between audio only and video oggs.
see the comments in link for more details:

Try a tracker search for "Audio" - it should return all ogg music files
but not video ones (unless the word audio is used in the name/path or
embedded tag in the video file)
That actually is my problem. All my .ogg audio tracks are indexed as
text/plain, I tried lots of things to fix this but still did not found
out why! If you know about this, or need a specific test run - let me
know.
