Hi,
When I select a text file from the tracker-search-tool GUI, it opens in
KWrite. I am running kubuntu Feisty. I would like to be able use emacs.
Is there a configuration variable or some other mechanism to specify the
viewer used? Perhaps tracker should use the EDITOR environment variable
when set.
If you have the xdg-utils package installed, tracker-search-tool will
use xdg-open.
xdg-open should use the default KDE viewer for text files when it is
run in a KDE session.
Use kcontrol: KDE Components->File Assocations and change the default
viewer for the mimetypes you want.
HTH,
Michael
