Ok, I've installed libglib1.2-dev and libglib2.0-dev (previously only
had the 2nd version glib-dev) and libnotify-dev (0.4.3-1) and still get
the same error. BTW, shouldn't the configure script tell me if I'm
missing sth?
yes that will be fixed
g_thread_init is in gliblib2
not sure why you are getting errors as it compiles fine here on fiesty
