I have been speaking to Owen Taylor and Kristian Høgsberg which are 
doing the GIT migration for GNOME it seems (planned for the 16th next 
week). Kristian is fine with doing the migration ASAP for Tracker. To do 
this, Owen will need to rsync the SVN repository and mark it as read 
only first.

If you find you can not commit to Tracker's code base, this is most 
likely the reason why. The move should be quite painless from what I 
have heard. I will keep you all posted.
