Hmm. Have you tried to force re-indexing via "/usr/libexec/trackerd -r"?
That should create the database and the necessary tables, as far as I
know.
Yes, or actually, I would use:
tracker-processes -r
It is more comprehensive.
Here is the trackerd.log:
15 Sep 2009, 09:27:48: Tracker-Warning **: Could not perform SQLite
operation, e
rror:1->'no such table: ServiceMetadata'
15 Sep 2009, 09:27:52: Tracker-Warning **: Could not perform SQLite
operation, e
rror:17->'no such table: Services'
This never happens, sounds like database corruption or it is not set up
correctly.
tracker-indexer.log: (tons of the same errors)
15 Sep 2009, 09:30:28: Tracker-Critical **: Couldn't get PID from
tracker-extract, The name org.freedesktop.Tracker.Extract was not
provided by any .service files

Hmm, this looks like an incomplete installation perhaps? the .service
files are installed into $prefix.
If you are running tracker yourself and not part of a pre-installed
package for a distribution, I would suggest you take a look at master/0.7.
