[Tracker] Tracker on Mac OS X with Apple X11 ?

Hello,

I have an eMac G4 700 with Mac OS 10.4

According to what I read, it is not easy to install linux on this machine.

But I discovered that we can run Linux application by using X11.

The principal reason I wanted to install Linux is because I am not satisfied with spotlight.

I tried Copernic on a Windows machine, and fell in love with it.

It is sad that they stopped offering it for Macs.

But I am now discovering the world of Linux...and Tracker seem to be very close to Copernic.

So: is it possible to instal Tracker on my eMac, and run it with X11 ?

I am thinking to get Fink and install other linux applications as well.
