Remove Icon & List Views | Show Options | Hidden Files ... and hardcode
the flag as off :)
I'm not sure the sidebar is useless in its current form; although it
doesn't do much the dark blue panel is distinctive - Gnome uses a very
restrained palette otherwise - and allows me to pick a Nautilus window
out of a mass of overlapping windows.
But the location bar is vital as a lot is undocumented. For example, try
typing preferences:// into it - much easier than navigating Gnome menu
items!
In fact, the location bar could be enhanced; any ideas why a drop-down
history was not implemented? I don't think the Go menu is the right
place for such a history as I keep finding myself moving back between
the location bar and the menu, and would like to see that history on the
right-mouse-button click ...
