Today, when writing some patches here and there, I came to the following
conclusion:
GNOME sessions confuse the average user. For him, it's enough to
struggle with x sessions.
One session per user profile/GNOME combination should be enough. A user
has some individual settings he likes to keep, why should he be able to
create multiple settings?
Calum Benson told me that Sun's customers make use of this feature - is
it really that popular? Does it provide a real advantage? Are the
usability tradeoffs we activate by the current dialog layout
justifiable?
