I don't know HOW this thread started, but the only thing that web
browsing and file browsing have in common are bookmarks, addresses, and
linking (though in completely different manners).

An HTML file should be viewed, and not treated as a meta-folder for the
reason that it is nothing like a folder.

What would be nice would be a split-view mode.
