There's a really interesting project at OpenUsability for the usability of Print Dialogs in open source desktops:
http://season.openusability.org/index.php/success-stories/openprinting
Their proposed solution is really refreshing, an miles away better than the current standard in closed source desktops. I hope we'll soon see this futuristic dialog implemented as a FreeDesktop standard.

If I want to print on anything but standard paper, I have first to open page setup, select a printer there, select page size
close this dialog, and only then select print.
It would be much better to have one more option in print dialog to select page size there, and maybe customize margins there too.
Btw there is a bug I reported on gnome bugzila http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=551356
It seems that this isn't eog specific bug, it seems like page margins rotate with page orientation, although they describe
actual printer limitations.
Best regards,
Maxim Levitsky
