Hi all,
I'm willing to organise some social activities for the hackfest. I live
in London and have a pretty good knowledge of the city. (If anybody else
would like to help with this, please let me know.)
I've added a small amount of information about leisure activities to the
hackfest wiki page [1] and can supplement that as people want. I can
recommend restaurants, bars/pubs, museums, galleries, markets, etc.
Please let me know what information you would find useful.
I can also organise drinks and meals for the evenings. Which evenings do
people want to have meals organised for? Monday and Friday seem like a
good bet. Any more?
A possibility for one of these meals would be to meet up with other
GNOME folk who are in London. Perhaps we could tie in with a GNOME
London Beer [2] event?
Finally, I could organise an afternoon social event if there is any free
time in the schedule and if that is what people want to do. The London
Design Museum [3] has some good exhibitions on right now. Perhaps a trip
there would provide us with inspiration?!
Best wishes,
Allan
