Hi all! I’m building libxml2-2.7.8 on several different
(redhat-based) platforms (using a long list of --with-xxx=no
options,… see below for the options). The first one I tried was an up to date Centos 5.6 which
went without a hitch. The second one is an older Centos 4.8, and with the same
list of configure options I get this output: libtool:

version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-11) it appears to create the static
library (which is my ultimate goal) so I may be OK as-is, but it makes me wonder.
