Gnome-db spec file problem

I get the following error message in a gnome spec file build. Is
there special syntax for setting up a file to have an /etc/ directory
in the build root?

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/gnome-db-0.0.90'
+ mkdir -p /var/tmp/gnome-db_0.0.90root/etc/CORBA/servers
+ mv
/var/tmp/gnome-db_0.0.90root/usr/etc/CORBA/servers/gnome_db.gnorba
/var/tmp/gnome-db_0.0.90root/etc/CORBA/servers/gnome_db.gnorba
mv:
/var/tmp/gnome-db_0.0.90root/usr/etc/CORBA/servers/gnome_db.gnorba: No
such file or directory
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.12374 (%install)

The install appears to be looking for /usr/etc while the build-root
has /etc and /usr in separate, parallel directories.

I have a couple of spec files that might have parallel examples, but
wondered if anyone knew right off how to set up the spec file so that
it wasn't trying to put things in directories that didn't exist.
