Okay, So we just froze and I already want to break it :) Here's the bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112494 Basically what was happening is that we were using the untranslated strings for display instead of the translated ones. So, while this isn't really changing the strings - it does mean that we are using a different set. The new set has already been translated by many translators. I think that overall this is very low risk, for significant benefit. This bug was originally reported in 2001. Thanks for considering this guys, sorry I didn't find it before the freeze. --Ted
