I've been playing around with Anjuta for a couple of months now, and I
like the way it handles my PHP code. One problem, though, is that
there's often Russian text in my code files, and all the work I produce
must be in UTF-8. Currently Anjuta opens my UTF-8 files as if they're
malformed ASCII, and interprets my typed Cyrillic characters as ASCII
with diacritics.
Is there a plan to support arbitrary Unicode input (with X keyboards),
saving, and opening? This would be a great help to me, as I'd really
love to take advantage of the syntax highlighting and code folding that
works so beautifully on ASCII texts.
Thanks!
