Prerelease alert

Okay, we're planning to release Balsa in less than 24 hours, 
correct?
A little checklist I came up with:

 o Update webpages, software map, README, gnotices when it's 
launched
 o Check for coredumps
 o Last minute check for bugs
 o Add names to AUTHORS file and about box (ask Stuart)
 o Verify 'make distcheck' works
 o Commit last-minute bugfixes -- no new features for sure
 o Active developers 'sign off' to this list

Sound good? If we want to release on Tuesday we have to do this all 
pretty
quickly.

Six hours from now I will definitely have no more CVS updates to 
make. If 
there are any problems we must learn about them NOW to make sure 
our release
is good.

Updating the webpages -- is this possible? I think Stuart is the 
only one
who can write to the webpages. That might be a problem, unless 
Stuart checks
his mail real soon :-).
