hmm yes, well i just compiled the patch into balsa and the applied
prefs are cool not to mention to the functionality you enchanced.

but you could url-handle things in gnome-control center i have gftp
selected there and whenever i click on a url shown e.g. this one here.

gvim starts up automatically and i am in the ftp server, i could
also set an url handler for newsreader things like slrn etc. this
was all possible before, so i end up in some understanding problems
with these prefs in balsa, since they could be managed by gnome
itself (recommended).

any ideas, did i get something wrong ?
