When I click on a WWW link in Balsa (1.2.4), I'd expect a new browser
window to be opened with the link.
On my installation, Balsa freezes instead. ps tells me that a new balsa
process has been created; if I kill it, Balsa unfreezes and I can going
on working with it.
From the FAQ, I have learned that Balsa uses gnome-moz-remote
(probably with --newwin) to (attempt to) open the browser window. The
strange thing is that I am able to use gnome-moz-remote to open a
browser window from the same environment that I use to start Balsa.
E.g.:
% balsa &
% gnome-moz-remote --newwin http://www.glue.ch
works like a charm (with or without --newwin).
There must be an obscure difference between me running gnome-moz-remote
from the command line and Balsa running it. My problem is that I don't
know how to determine that difference. How can I see the output of
gnome-moz-remote when run from Balsa?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Thomas
