Good thought! I'm trying this:
1. Install the source rpm.
2. Grab the *fixed* patch from
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111286, and copy it as
treeview.patch to /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/
3. Edit /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/gtk2.spec in 2 places to refer to
treeview.patch:
