State of GPG integration?

Hi all.

I discovered Balsa yesterday and am very happy with it.

I was wondering where GPG integration stands in the 2.0 tree, and 
whether an extra coder might be of use.  I checked the list archives, 
but didn't see much recent on the subject.

Also, is there a coders' primer for Balsa that someone could give me a 
pointer to?
