Running autoconf...
Running autoheader...
Running automake...
automake: cannot open < gnome-doc-utils.make: No such file or

the I tried bootstrap.sh
./bootstrap.sh make the correct symlink
gnome-doc-utils.make ->
/usr/share/gnome-doc-utils/gnome-doc-utils.make
Ans then a lot of warnign messages:

./configure runs normally but then, with make, I have:

Have you tried executing:
rm gnome-doc-utils.make
gnome-doc-prepare --force
as in bootstrap.sh
