0.7.90 unable to copy a dvd to image

Under 0.7.1 I was able to select copy cd/dvd and was able to specify an 
image.  It displays it is a DVDROM and when I select image it puts up
an icon but goes not further.  I could just have it configured 
incorrectly.  I got all the build dependencies and built the new version
and installed.
