API addition

in order to fix bug #79324, i need to add an API call:

    gnome_icon_entry_set_max_saved()

which is similar to gnome_icon_entry_set_history_id().

these are needed because gnome_icon_entry_gnome_entry() is deprecated
(and spews warnings, because people used it improperly).

the attached bug is there.

incidentally, do people think a g2 release team bugzilla alias would be
a good idea so i could just CC them on these kinds of things?  (is there
one already?)
