sawfish capplet is present now and it should be working. previously it was
getting installed under gnome-control-center-2 whereas the correct path is
gnome-control-center-2.0 ( as of now), the change has been made and
committed so you should be able to configure sawfish as you did in gnome 1.4

ps : but i agree that there are still outstanding bugs which need to be
resolved as quickly as possible for a stable gnome 2.0
