I'm just working on this right now. I noticed that gnome-vfs depends on
gconf so technically the gnome_vfs launch stuff could add support for
all the gconf stuff eliminating a need for gnome_url_show. Would that be
a good idea?

In any case, gnome_vfs needs to use gconf to find out what terminal
application to use. So maybe:

/desktop/gnome/applications/terminal

should move to one of:

/system/vfs/terminal
/apps/gnome-vfs/terminal
