To clarify, we are not in deep code freeze [1], so we don't require
confirmation of every change. Just strings, UI, feature, etc. All the things
that you shouldn't need to change at this stage anyway.

We will enter deep code freeze with the release of RC1.

[1] We really ought to be in deep code freeze at this stage, though. 2.2 has
been an interesting first run at a six month release schedule (shortened by
the extended 2.0.x release period) - there will be quite a few changes to
the schedule when 2.4 rolls around. The release team will be asking for your
input about what rocked and sucked during the 2.2 process in early February!
