Yikes... seems it's already been added (in 2.1.x), but I've never
noticed it before because it's under "Add to Panel->Utility->Show
Desktop Button" rather than "Add to Panel->Buttons->Show Desktop".  

Duh.  I hope the ui-reviewers picked up that one...
