Hi,

The mime type for "themes", aka metathemes, is
application/x-gnome-theme.

Unfortunately the layout of a theme file means that gnome-vfs thinks a
theme is something like application/x-app-info (ie. a desktop file). The
following bug contains the changes that have to be made in order to fix
the mime type.

Basically the theme starts with [X-GNOME-Metatheme] and the name and
comment fields can be migrated into that section (the [Desktop Item]
section can be killed).
