Remember that the copyright assignment is only required for code to be
integrated into the Ximian version of Evolution. If people do actually
feel strongly about this, the Evolution code could be branched to
produce a "Gnome Evolution" and Ximian code pulled in periodically.
I should point out that it's not something that would stop me from
contributing to Evolution, though there'd be a small reduction in the
warm fuzziness factor as a result.
