Because Pat didn't want to deal with the other two external dependencies of
Gnomemeeting (the two libs it's depend on). I remember having that specific
discussion with him last year. He didn't have a problem with gnomemeeting
itself (as it was now part of the Gnome desktop) but he did with its deps.
