Vino was designed such that you don't normally need to have that
conversation, though-- the remote user should only have to open the vino
capplet, at which point they can send you an email with all the info you
need to connect by clicking on the link in the dialog. That feature
does of course require that the remote user's machine be reachable from
yours, though, which may not be the case in ISP-land, or if lack of
network connectivity is the problem they're trying to solve in the first
place :)
