ok

here is the first version of the aboutme capplet.

the files are at:

there you can also find several screenshots

instructions:
* first you hace to apply the aboutme-v1.diff patch to the gnome control
center
* then in capplets/ untar aboutme.tar
* ./autogen.sh and voila!

Notes:

To make it work you also have to apply the patch self.tar to evolution-
data-server, the file is addressbook/libebook/e-book.c.
[I have already posted this patch in evolutions bugzilla.]

Things that work:
	* password changing with pam_unix and pam_krb5 (heimdal)
	* photo changing (gdm and evolution are both updated)
	* address loading/saving

Things left to do:
	* I have to make the password changing more robust, it would be nice if
someone could tell me how to make it more robust.
	(I didn't have time yet to look at the fedora package mentioned by
Havoc)
	* Include IM/Telephone/Email stuff
	* Tips in the password dialog

Other notes:

	* Several people have suggested splitting the password changing stuff
and putting it in another capplet, this is easy to do, but i will wait
until the situation with the panel menus and preferences is solved.
	* I think i will not use libuser, because it is not on most distros
(debian doesn't distribute it, for example)
	* I don't want to provide any script or program with this that has to
be run with setuid root to change the password, at the moment i'm
interfacing with passwd, even if it is not robust.
	* I have stolen code from evolution and gnome-system-tools, i don't
know if i have to say explicitly something about this and what i should
say in case of needing it. If you know it, just drop me an email.

Again, any suggestions are appreciated.
