I think that the implementation of "spatial mode" was effectively better in nautilus
than "browser mode" when it was introduced. I also think that the theory behind 
"spatial mode" was good.

However, most users seemed to disagree. 

Since GNOME 2.12, and the "refreshed" browser mode, I think things have
vastly improved in that area. Using browser mode is now fast, efficient,
and intuitive.

in 2.14. That's called evolution... and changing his mind is usually not
a bad thing. So I tend to 100% agree with Jeff. 10x10 !
