You cut off the part that follows in that paragraph where I mention
libgossip. Widgets in Gossip heavily depend on libgossip for objects
like GossipContact or GossipPresence, these are fundamental types and
are used everywhere. Empathy would have to use these fundamental types
otherwise rewrite the widgets/libgossip layer pretty much completely -
which I doubt has been done given the resources on the project and time
since the fork.

I am not angry. I just feel less inclined to help.
There are no hard feelings here between Xavier and myself, in fact, we
are often in communication about bugs found to help benefit both projects.
